Description

1986 The main character, Tommy Vercetti, returns to Liberty City after 15 years in prison for the murder of 11 people. Tommy's boss, crime boss Sonny Forelli, is clearly not happy about his return and sends him to Vice City to conclude a deal to acquire a shipment of drugs. Tommy and two other people from the Forelli clan (Harry and Lee) are met at the city airport by lawyer Ken Rosenberg. Afterwards, they all arrive at the city’s port, where the deal with the Vance brothers takes place. But suddenly it is disrupted by three unknown shooters and everyone from the Forelli clan dies except Tommy and Rosenberg; one of the Vance brothers also dies. Tommy manages to escape by jumping into Rosenberg's car, and they drive off together to the lawyer's office. After settling in at the hotel, Tommy calls Sonny and informs him about the failure of the deal. Forelli is furious and demands the money and drugs back, even though they are already on his desk. Obviously, money and drugs are not enough for Sonny and he is trying to completely control everyone in this city, including Tommy, who clearly does not want to be deceived by his errand boy.

Thus begins Tommy's criminal career in Vice City.

My review of the game

Again, this is a childhood game. For me it was amazing, and when I found out that you can also enter cheat codes into it, it made it even more interesting and mysterious for me.

I don’t know, you also had the idea that if you go into some secret “bushes” or somewhere else, you will find yourself in some additional space or world. For some reason I always wanted to find something like that, because this game, with its hidden guns, aspirin and everything else in different backstreets, really gives you the feeling that you are about to find something special.

Overall, a very cool retrowave vibe, the game is still considered a cult one.
